Hello!  My name is Samantha Thvedt.  I am excited to be joining the Edmore public school. I received my BSE in Elementary Education from Minot State University.  I have been teaching for the last 6 years.  The first three years I taught 4th grade in a small, rural village in Alaska.  Then being a North Dakota native I came back to teach in Hebron, ND. Where I taught 4th grade for 3 years. 

My mother lives in Grafton and given the pandemic figured it was time to move closer to her so she can see her grandchildren. I am married have two sons. Darian who is in 10th grade and Gotham who is 3 years old.  We also have two dogs, Rico and Honey. And a kitty named Artsie Fartsie. 

I am an avid reader and will read pretty much anything that is put in front of me.  I believe if you are an accomplished reader, you can learn how to do anything. I am looking forward to helping my students to achieve their reading goals.
